I'd never heard of Mr. Crowder before today. Got to watch him now. However, I have to point out that he's only barely touching on the devestation to Detroit. Go to GoogleEarth for Detroit and have a look see. Some of it is more like when the Brits first built a fort there than the bustling metropolis we grew up believing it was.

  St. Crispian's Day - Let us too steel ourselves for battle with our foes...

If we are mark'd to die, we are enow
To do our country loss; and if to live,
The fewer men, the greater share of honour.
God's will! I pray thee, wish not one man more.
By Jove, I am not covetous for gold,
Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost;
It yearns me not if men my garments wear;
Such outward things dwell not in my desires.
But if it be a sin to covet honour,
I am the most offending soul alive.
No, faith, my coz, wish not a man from England.
God's peace! I would not lose so great an honour
As one man more methinks would share from me
For the best hope I have. O, do not wish one more!
Rather proclaim it, Westmoreland, through my host,
That he which hath no stomach to this fight,
Let him depart; his passport shall be made,
And crowns for convoy put into his purse;
We would not die in that man's company
That fears his fellowship to die with us.
This day is call'd the feast of Crispian.
He that outlives this day, and comes safe home,
Will stand a tip-toe when this day is nam'd,
And rouse him at the name of Crispian.
He that shall live this day, and see old age,
Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours,
And say 'To-morrow is Saint Crispian.'
Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars,
And say 'These wounds I had on Crispian's day.'
Old men forget; yet all shall be forgot,
But he'll remember, with advantages,
What feats he did that day. Then shall our names,
Familiar in his mouth as household words-
Harry the King, Bedford and Exeter,
Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester-
Be in their flowing cups freshly rememb'red.
This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remembered-
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

Yes, about the banks, about bailouts and about the attempt by Congress to "protect" the consumer which resulted in the usurious rates charged by the banks on credit cards. BTW, if we kill the credit card business, we'll kill the consumer society and thus the economy. Maybe that's the goal...

  A.C.O.R.N.
I cannot begin to capture all the data that is out there on this organization, closely allied with President Obama, which is involved in numerous voter fraud and now tax and criminal fraud incidents.

You probably have seen the video of Baltimore A.C.O.R.N. members, their "flag" in the background, assisting a supposed pimp in the establishment of a brothel for child prostitution and in how to report income for taxes... One might think this was an isolated instance but for a repeat performance in Washington, D.C. I find it a bit disturbing that the repeated convictions, all across the country, of A.C.O.R.N. members for voter registration fraud didn't dissuade the U.S. Census Bureau from using A.C.O.R.N. for collecting census data. However, I am glad that they finally saw the light when it was clear that A.C.O.R.N. wasn't above helping somebody running a child prostitution ring. That has not stopped A.C.O.R.N. from getting millions of dollars (or is it billions) from the stimulus plan. That's YOUR tax money funding these thugs/crooks.

I am certain that more info will come out on this but here's some video.

And it continues, with A.C.O.R.N. not being legal to operate in Maryland (yes, Baltimore is in Maryland), the Senate voted to stop funding for them, they've been caught in NYC and D.C. doing the same thing but the MSM won't cover the story. Why not? Likely because they and the politicians they prefer are so tied in with the organization via money, voter registration (fraud?), and maybe even voting irregularityes that they can't risk everyone knowing about it.

This would be the SECOND (that's #2) time in the last couple of weeks that the MSM has refused to cover a story putting the President in a bad light. The first was Van Jones.

So what's next?

  You will not believe this... WHO is a racist?
I was sent a link to youtube.com referring to this speech. There are several "versions" with comments varying depending on the viewpoint of the poster of the video. I've posted the PRO version here. If you have enough interest you can find the others yourself.

Kamau Kambon made this speech or comments October 14, 2005 but I had never heard of him or this speech, at least I don't remember it. I suppose that is a good thing in a way as these comments don't seem to have been broadly accepted. However, I think perhaps somebody should have said something. So I thought I would "google" his name and see what I could discover about the man born as Leroy Johnson, owner of Blacknificent Books. There isn't much.

I looked for a link with Barack Obama and the only one I could find was a tenuous link to Rev. Wright in that he spoke at Howard University.

What I did find was that there are people who accept and agree with Dr. Kambon. I find that just as disturbing as those who agreed with Senator Byrd when he was in the KKK.

So she had the gumption to have a "town hall" meeting despite her votes to impoverish the country but she couldn't be bothered to be polite to her employers...

Somebody asked me why this was important. Let me ask you something. If you were called to a meeting by your employer and your phone rang (because you'd been so thoughtless to not turn it off or turn off the ring tone) would you answer it? What would your employer think if you did take a personal call in the middle of his asking a question? Would he be feeling disrespected? Would it be disrespectful?

I submit that you wouldn't dare do this to your employer. WE are the Representatives' employers. They are at the town halls to answer to their bosses. It sure ain't the other way 'round.

  Tea Party Aftermath
Well, we tea party attendees' expression of their views was unhealthy:
WASHINGTON (CNN) – Senior White House adviser David Axelrod on Sunday suggested the "Tea Party" movement is an "unhealthy" reaction to the tough economic climate facing the country.

Axelrod was asked on CBS's "Face the Nation" about the "spreading and very public disaffection" with the president's fiscal policies seen at the "Tea Party" rallies around the country last week.

"I think any time you have severe economic conditions there is always an element of disaffection that can mutate into something that's unhealthy," Axelrod said.

Axelrod appeared to backtrack when pressed on whether the movement is unhealthy.

"Well, this is a country where we value our liberties and our ability to express ourselves, and so far these are expressions," he said.

"The thing that bewilders me is that this president just cut taxes for 95 percent of the American people," Axelrod argued. "I think the tea bags should be directed elsewhere because he certainly understands the burden that people face."
Janeane Garofalo thinks
“Let’s be very honest about what this is about,” she said. “It’s not about bashing Democrats, it’s not about taxes, they have no idea what the Boston tea party was about, they don’t know their history at all. This is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up. That is nothing but a bunch of teabagging rednecks.”
want to watch Ms. Garafalo?

Pure genius there...

This is just the opening volley in the attack on tea party participants. For the record, there was a diverse group at our tea party, right across the street from my house. Hispanics, Asians, Blacks, Caucasians, men, women, aged 5-92.

I like this video of the 44 Presidents of the United States, one morphing into the next. Unfortunately the creator apparently thinks that changing skin color is really change. It isn't. Just as God and Martin Luther King taught us, it is the content of one's character, NOT the color of one's skin which is important. Anyway, here's the video, just because it is well done (in other words, good content overall).

Manufactured by Lacroix Pyro-Technologies of France, the HIWS will be marketed by the FNH team. It is capable of hurling the 2.2-pound payload of a 3.3-pound round more than 700 yards in an indirect-fire mode. In a direct-fire role, the HIWS can engage targets out to 300 yards.Touting a sophisticated recoil-mitigation system, the weapon produces no back blast and no overpressure, making it possible to fire the system from an enclosed space - even from inside a vehicle. The HIWS is also relatively quiet: Ear protection isn't needed when firing the system.

  Barack H______ Obama and his Pastor, Part II
Today I learned that Barack H______ Obama (here refered to as BHO) has a pastor who has for 20+ years espoused hatred of white people and believes that God (the singular creator of all things) is black and for black people. That BHO hasn't actually disavowed him any more than he has disavowed his racist, white, grandmother (yeah, grandma you couldn't choose, Rev. Wright you did choose). Further he gets thrice weekly phone calls from the Rev. Al Sharpton (who also believes that all white folks are to blame for the problems black folks have). Moreover, I learned that BHO gets some fantastic advice from some guy name Meeks, another black minister who preaches hate. Then to top it all off I hear this other black minister who's for Mrs. Clinton who talks about BHO's mother as trash.

So, I suppose that BHO was right yesterday when he said we've all heard such talk in our churches. Well, apparently we have if we're black. Me? Nope, never. All I ever heard about in church was about God and Jesus and finding understanding God and Jesus and finding salvation in the church. There was no taking the lord's name in vain, no use of the "N" word, no referring to the congregation as idiots or fools. Of course the churches I attended never blamed the black man for anything. They didn't call for the destruction of black people.

The thing is that most of the churches I attended were in the south. The south of racists whites. Now it seems the whole country is the home of racist blacks. I hate to think that some of my friends, who also happen to be black, might go to such churches and hate me because I'm not black.

One thing is certain. I'm not voting for a person who hates me. I'm not voting for a person who's advisers hate me. I'm not voting for a person who's wife hates me. I'm not voting for a person who rejects one whole half of their gene pool based on the color of their skin. I will not be like them and I will not vote for them and I will not put them in a position to exercise their hate on my children, my grandchildren or my great-grandchildren.

Now here's some video proof of this despicable and threatening behavior...

  Electronic Bagpipes
I love bagpipes, the war pipes, although that loophole version from Ireland sounds good, too. They stir my blood. I don't doubt that my Irish, Scots, Welsh and Cornish ancestry has something to do with that. I think the pipes make a statement as much now as when the English banned them from Scotland. If I were POTUS, I would be piped into and out of every public event. My piper would be escorted by an armed Marine and US Army Airborne Ranger and the group would be in the charge of a Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer armed with a sharpened cutlass or an Old Guard officer with spontoon. The pipes kick ass and I'd want everyone to know that is exactly what I'd do to our enemies. But enough of the Walter Mittyisms, from Lawdog comes this bit about a Spanish musician who invented electronic pipes. Jose Angel Hevia Velasco -- who performs under the name Hevia -- is a Spanish bagpiper who hauled off and invented a MIDI bagpipe which he plays live during concerts. He's actually pretty good.

The following video is probably his most famous piece:

  Logan, the Sky Angel Cowboy!

The YouTube description:
We have had a lot of requests to replay the phone call that Pastor Mike shared during our church service on Sunday, Nov. 11th, 2007.

Here you'll find the video clip that was created just for you. We've placed the video on YouTube so that you can watch it and share with family and friends.

Logan is a 13 year-old boy who lives on a ranch in a very small town in Nebraska. Logan listens to Christian Radio station 89.3FM KSBJ which broadcasts from Houston, TX. Logan called the radio station distraught because he had to take down a calf . His words have wisdom beyond his years.

Since airing the audio of the phone call and now the making of the video clip, it has taken on a life of its own. People are forwarding it all over the world. We encourage you to share the love of Christ with anyone you can.

(**Sky Angel is a family safe broadcasting service that is offered on satellite. KSBJ is a local Houston Christian music radio station. Video clip produced with love by Frank Lozano. Hear the entire message at ValenicaHills.com)

  Mrs. Clinton What Will You Say Next? (and Will You Mean It?)
I've been looking for this clip from the debate. Everyone is talking about how Mrs. Clinton is first for, then against, then for drivers licenses for illegal immigrants. All this in about 2 minutes. "Startling" is how one person described it. For myself, I wasn't surprised about Mrs. Clinton's views or apparent lack of committment. Nor was I surprised when her campaign staff and she said the boys had piled on and the moderator had been aggressive. You see, nothing that Mr. or Mrs. Clinton do is ever their fault. Too, Mrs. Clinton hasn't the charm her husband has. She can't gloss over her duplicity, anger or stupidity with an "aw shucks" moment. Everything about her contributes to the extremely negative perception fully half the voters have of her. Oh well, look for yourself...

Royal Australian Air Force F-111 sinks North Korean drug ship. After being caught trying to smuggle drugs into Australia the Pong Su was sunk by two 2000-pound (900 kg) laser-guided bombs dropped from an RAAF F-111 aircraft. The deliberate destruction of the freighter was said to deliver a strong message to international drug smuggling rings that the Australian Federal Government would take all measures necessary to stop illegal drug importation.

Do you think that did the trick? I'm thinking North Korea is now working on using an old diesel sub to do their exporting work now.

  Japanese Protecting Soveriegnty
"Here's video footage of the Japanese Coast Guard tracking and engaging a north korean spy trawler. The events occur over several hours of daylight and night. It looks like the NK spy trawler refused to be boarded after warning shots with a minigun, it was set afire, stayed afloat, rammed, then the NK's shot at the JCG with automatic rifle fire and RPG(s). Then the Japanese crews really opened up on them and the spy trawler was set afire again and exploded. The last few seconds show the damage to the JCG vessel(s). Please add details if you can read Japanese and if you can find an English transcript about the fight."

Ok, so it is an OLD video. Maybe done to death in another time. I don't care. No trawler carts around RPGs... This interests me because all Chinese and Korean stories interest me. I also think it demonstrates that the North Korean government (i.e. Kim Jong Il) is a bubble off in the international relations deparment. It is as if they want to antagonize the Japanese.

  Tribute
A friend of mine lost his father today. A veteran of WWII, his father must have been a great man, his son is. When I saw this I was moved to say another prayer for both him and his father.

For us, the American ideal is personified in the concept of self-reliance, work ethic, honesty/forthrightness, decency, personal property rights, family, religion, an ability to defend oneself from criminals and crooked politicians, and personal responsibility.
