Health Care Debate Ended
The
POTUS says the debate about health care is over (as does our own "esteemed" Senator Webb).
President Barack Obama urged Congress Wednesday to vote "up or down" on sweeping health care legislation in the next few weeks, endorsing a plan that denies Senate Republicans the right to kill the bill by stalling with a filibuster.
"I don't see how another year of negotiations would help. Moreover, the insurance companies aren't starting over," Obama said, rejecting Republican calls to begin anew on an effort to remake the health care system.
The Dem/S have had the absolute majority in the Congress and been unable to even bring their own party members to an agreement. The people when polled are absolutely against any of the existing bills. What is it about "no" that the President doesn't understand.
Just like a man that forces himself on his date, President Obama doesn't understand that "no" means "no". He is determined to have his way with us and to hell with the consequences for us OR for his family (the Dem/S) or for himself. He arrogantly believes that because he wants it it must be all right.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has apparently become the Tonya Harding of the House attempting to
cajole her friends to risk their political lives for this drastic rewrite of the American economy while threatening her enemies. At the same time she is pretending to be innocent of any wrongdoing, after all she's one of us, She's a tea party person!
Well, for me, the health care debate, such as it was, IS over. I've decided that NO health care reform beats what's been offered by Congress by a mile. I've decided that if they can't listen to me, I sure as hell don't have to listen to MY EMPLOYEES.
Let me put it another way Senators Webb and Warner. I vote and I don't have Alheimer's! You might have a couple of years until your seat comes up for re-election but I will be there working against you if you support this or any similar legislation.
