A Fox TV station has been told not to report that Chicago residents are against the Olympics coming to their city. Interesting, isn't it? I think we should spread the news.
There are a lot of reasons why a city should not have the Olympics (as neat as they are) and most of those have to do with money. LOTS of money has to be spent to bring all the necessary venues up to standards to house the Olympics, summer or winter, and that money comes from the taxpayers. There is also several years of nothing but inconvenience as everything changes, traffic patterns, and security concerns.
