Justice Souter is going to retire. I don't know why and I don't care. Now, the talk is all about his replacement and how that person should represent this or that gender, race, ethnicity, etc. Not a word about being an outstanding jurist. Why not? Are "they" afraid that a JURIST would have to rule against their anti-constitutional acts? That's what I'm thinking...
The "swine" flu is apparently cause for great concern. Egyptians are stupidly slaughtering pigs, people are avoiding pork products, wearing masks and otherwise acting like frightened school children. Meanwhile the only people who have died are those who already had compromised immune systems and the total number of dead from this particular disease is about

The stock market has rallied. Ok. So I'll be happy when it is back at 14,000... I'd hate to tell you how much my family has lost in stock value. Clearly the annointed one doesn't want us to have it back either. I'm not holding my breath waiting on that either...
The ecoidiots in Congress want to force cap and trade down our throats to save us all from climate change (they had to change the name from global warming because that was so obviously a lie). Of course these pseudoscientists (actually Gaia religionists) haven't a clue that people can't really control the climate in much of any lasting way. In doing so they will be stealing from us an ever increasing, by estimates, amount of money they haven't the nerve to admit is another tax. The current estimate is in excess of $3,000 a year.
Miss California continues to be the subject of intolerant hateful attacks by gays calling for tolerance of their lifestyle. Here's my take. If you can't help it it isn't a 'lifestyle'. If you can help it it isn't normal which makes it a perversion which makes you a pervert.

Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL)admitted that the Obama health care plan will destroy the private health insurance industry. I guess they will shut her up ASAP.
Let me tell you folks. I've had government health care all my adult life, in the military and as a retiree, and it sucks when it is run by people who might actually care about me as one of them. What makes you think it will work when it is run by faceless bureaucrats who don't give a fig if you live or die?
And one more thing about that last, Obama said that old people were costing too much for health care. In other words, old people use too much in health care resources. Has anybody seen "Logan's Run"?
