- Yep, Jim Webb signed the get-Rush-Limbaugh letter. He's voted for the "Dream Act", twice. He's NOT working to oppose gun control. Hell, he's firmly in Reid's back pocket. I hope those who voted for him because he didn't get caught misusing a single word during the campaign are happy.

- If you don't think that Pakistan is critical to future world peace skip to the next bullet. WorldPublicOpinion.org reports that public opinion in Pakistan is more pro AlQueda than not. That should worry any rational person concerned about rational control of nuclear weapons, about allies against the terrorist/jihadists, about their children and grand-children. Pakistan might be the keystone in resisting Muslim extremists.

- In Virginia politics, we're getting ready to vote next week and at Not Larry Sabato we see this tripe about Sons of Confederate Veterans and Joe May. Mostly it is about the SCV. I know about 2 dozen members. Not one has ever made a racist statement in my presence. It is all about heritage, not hate.

- Speaking of Virginia politics. I'm voting Arin Sime for State Senate. Sorry Emmett, but I'm still POed about taxes, lukewarm support of 2A rights, and the additional driver penalties (for which you did not vote but against which you did not compaign). Arin is closer to my approach.

- Hasbro just doesn't get it. GI Joe ain't the same as G.I. J.O.E. ("Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity"). GI Joe started as a soldier, sailor, Marine. This is a disgraceful example of the thought-control from the PC crowd...
