The US Senate Goes Bonkers
With absolutely NO proof that humans cause global warming, not even an actual scientific consensus that we cause or can reverse global warming the US Senate is moving to pass a "
global warming bill" that will likely have the same effect as a tax on every US citizen. What such controls, if enacted and actually implemented, will NOT do is counteract the huge quantities of emissions by many other nations most notable of which is the People's Republic of China (PRC). The PRC neither cares nor will be constrainted by public opinion or treaty in its mad rush towards modernization. Ironically, we can breathe the air in this country, while millions upon millions in the industrial areas of the PRC are breathing air so foul that it is reminiscent of Victorian London. What is truly ironic is that it is the sun, over which mankind has absolutely no control, which most absolutely affects the temperatures here on earth. So much for reason...
