Now here's a conundrum...
Granted we have a right to confront our accuser but what if the accused has murdered or had his/her accuser murdered? Should testamony be ignored because the accuser/victim is no longer able to come to court? Does this encourage criminals to kill their victims? Does this make all of us, potential victims, more likely to think that we need to kill our attackers lest we be killed so that we can't testify and they can't be tried/convicted? What do you think?
