Topics I Haven't Addressed...
It has been brought to my attention that there are several popular blog topics I haven't addressed. I'd like to bring to your attention why I haven't addressed them (other than that they don't interest me).
1. Princess Diana - 10 years ago, when the Princess was killed, I was on a special trip to celebrate the 80th birthday of my Aunt Virginia. My Aunt Virginia is a wonderful woman. She never graduated college but did get a Fulbright Scholarship. She's a published author. She liked steak tartar and hunted. She is the other family genealogist. She has a wonderful son and grandchildren. Frankly, I'd rather celebrate my Auntie's 90th birthday than worry about a philandering former wife of a philandering English prince. After all our ancestors (mine and my Auntie's) left England a long time ago to get away from that folderol.
2. Larry Craig - Ok, so he was pro-gun (usually), but he was inappropriately, publicly not gay. Get over it and resign already.
3. John Edwards - Yeah, that one, the Dem/S running for president and losing to Obama and Clinton. The one who tried using his wife to say nasty things about Clinton and when that failed shows why by saying we peons should give up our SUVs (code word for cars bigger than kid's tricycle) to save the planet from global warming. Well, this well coifed mental midget isn't going to win the nomination for his party and I don't give a hoot about what he thinks.
4. Elvira Arellano - This two time illegal immigrant and deportee, this forger of identity documents, well, this person just doesn't go away. I guess she'll be playing Joan Baez' version of "Deportee" and rallying more illegals to parade their Mexican flags on USofA Streets if she gets her way and finagles her way back into the country as an "Ambassador of Peace". Give me a break. No doubt once she gets here, and this is unfortunately a likely thing, we'll have to put up with her insufferable opportunistic moronic pastor as well. Blecch.
Did I miss anything?
