Candidates and What the Parties Need to Notice
Fred Thompson is going to run for POTUS. I'm chuffed. Scott Sayre is taking on Emmett Hanger for State Senator. Again, I'm chuffed. If somehow Scott doesn't make it in the primary then there's Libertarian/Independent Arin Sime for State Senate. Once again, I'm chuffed. It is a good thing to have to choose between two pro-gun, small government, low taxes candidates. It is NOT a good thing to only have those darn Dem/S and RINOs running. Unfortunately, the Republicans in office don't get it. Oh, they RAN on a platform of small government, lower taxes, no gun control and security but they aren't working to do any of those things. This is why the Dem/S were able to snooker the in-betweeners and keep the hard-core (and now POed) conservatives at home/away from the polls this past election. Those two things let the Dem/S get elected and now they are trying to say they have a calling to end the war and raise taxes. What maroons. They are lying to us but of course we knew they would. Only the stay-at-homes who wanted to "send a message" and instead helped the Dem/S get in position to destroy the country didn't quite understand what the ramifications would be. They'd better be darn certain to vote in the 2008 election. The Dem/S might then notice that Americans want to be secure and keep the terrorists over there and not let them get a chance to come here, that Americans really don't want more stupid gun control, that Americans really don't want more new taxes, and that we are darn sick and tired of their foolish conspiracy theories and running down Americans as some sort of international low lifes. So should the Republicans. Maybe they should also grow a pair and stand up to the socialists and their kin and save the country instead of rather poorly playing at politics.
Ok, I can breathe now. Back to regularly scheduled programming.
