I'd like to take the credit for my initiative in beginning the Free Phillip Thompson campaign but I don't think it made a bit of difference. Phillip Thompson, aide to Senator Jim Webb of Virginia, will not be prosecuted for illegal anything with a handgun at The Capitol and I just think that the various agencies involved couldn't prove a crime. Too bad that Senator Webb has yet to speak out for gun owners (including himself), stand up for his friend (in public), or do anything that would show that he's more than a surrender monkey putz.
