Defend the Nation, Vote
Once upon a time there was a great American President. He did not rise from a humble, impoverished childhood but he had been sickly and overcome his weaknesses. Unlike his cousin, a later President of the United States, he was a Republican and was still the man who desegregated the Federal Civil Service, only to see it returned to segregation by a succeeding Democrat (Woodrow Wilson). Many have been criticizing the current POTUS but they have forgotten these words from a
speech at the Sorbonne, Paris, France, April 23, 1910:
It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.
We are under attack by the enemies of God and righteousness, people who would destroy everyone in the world to destroy any who do not worship EXACTLY as they do and we are in desperate need of men, and women, who strive. Yes, we have many who do the little daily deeds that build victories and they are serving all around this world and sometimes dieing in the attempt. What we do not have are many in positions of decision. Instead we have in both major parties too many of those cold and timid souls who would know neither victory nor defeat.
The majority of those quislings, those enemies within, the fifth column, the cold and timid are Democrats. They must be removed from office and prevented from taking office to destroy us. Please, vote this November. Vote for our country, for our children and grandchildren that they might know freedom and liberty and not be forced to hear instead the jack-booted thugs that tyrants will send to our doors.
