You may have heard that Cindy "Mother" Sheehan used part of her profits from her son's death (SGLI or other insurance) to
buy some acres right next to the POTUS property in Crawford, TX. That' fine, it is her money and her right to live there, but... Apparently, knowing the President's neighbors would never sell to her, she sent somebody to make a straw purchase who presented themselves as a Katrina survivor wanting to make a new life. She lied not only about who she is but even used a lie to garner sympathy from the previous owners. What a scuzz.
Liars are common on the left. You may also have read or heard about how Israel deliberately targeted a UN observation post and killed four "peacekeepers". Well, it seems that
Hezbollah was "hugging" the outpost using the observers as human shields. I don't think it worked.
You might have noticed that I put "peacekeepers" in quotes. They certainly didn't do that job as Hezbollah and company have been taking over their area of responsibility for years. The Lebanese aren't in control, the Iranian sub-set is/was.
I'd like to also note that the observers must have been very brave. Even though they were right in the middle of it all and could do absolutely nothing to anyone about it they did what Kofi wanted and stayed until they died. May God take them to his bosom. May Kofi Annan, the crooked, lying, slime that he is rot in hell.
The Israelis have a good reason to keep as much of the infrastructure intact as they can. Well, a couple of good reasons. First, it doesn't look bad for them if they don't commit wholesale destruction of the civilian areas. Second, they can use the infrastructure,
namely phone lines, to their own ends. Very clever.
This is just stupid.
The magazine BABYTALK has a cover with a baby nursing. Of course, for those of you without children or living incredibly sheltered lives, babies nurse at BREASTS, human BREASTS. Apparently some folks are offended by this. They aren't offended by people, adults and children, shoving large quantities of food in their mouths in TV and print ads. They are offended by babies doing the same. This is just silly. How is it that people are so silly?
The case of the missing moose in, get this, Connecticut! I didn't know that Connecticut had moose (again?). They must be pretty adaptable although they still think they will survive an encounter with an automobile or truck. I hope whoever got it eats well.
