Firefighters Blasted by US Senator from Montana

Official: Montana Senator Blasts Firefighters HELENA, Mont. — Sen. Conrad Burns confronted members of a Virginia firefighting team at an airport and told them they had done a "poor job" battling a southern Montana wildfire, according to a state official's report obtained Thursday.

I know a couple of the fellows on this hotshot crew. They seem competent to me and I fought forest fire and learned a lot about it from my dad who fought fire for 27 years working for the US Forest Service.
